Illustration day continued

I am in the mood for fantasy today as it is so grim outside, and although I am dressed it is still cold so I am back in bed writing, drinking a cup of tea and eating turkish delight. Extravagant I know, but I can't go anywhere so that is that. I will admit, even though I think it to be wildly uncouth I have reheated this tea twice, please lets just keep that between us.

Anyway my third illustrator today is the wonderful Kate Wilson of Little doodles. I do wish my backyard wildlife were as enthusiastic about pretty things as these little feathered folk, when we finally get our own garden and bird table I will teach them some new tricks. They will dine on peanut party rings and birdseed macaroons.

Love Kate's work. And I routinely reheat my tea as well, a necessity on these long cold days.
Love your blog....

Awww....these are so sweet! I love them! And I am in a similar state to you - curled up in bed! And why not when the weather outside proves to be so yuck?! :) xxx

I recently bought a little doodles card from the V&A! its two birds perched on a pink macaroon with 'guardians of the macaroon' written on the front, so pretty.

I love Claire Fletcher's work. Rather Narnian I think. Have you seen Kerry Lemon's illustration? unbelievably fine and delicate. I think you'll like it. http://www.kerrylemon.co.uk/. P.S. nice to meet you at the Posh Jumble Sale - love my flowery orange scarf.

So nice to meet you both too,

Caroline, it has been a week of putting names to faces and I'm sure I have them all mixed up.

Melissa, glad you like the scarf and thanks for the link, will you be at the fashion show at St mary in the castle on the 27th? I might have a stall, but not sure what to sell yet. x
