From three to one.

Hi, I trust your weekend has started well, I spent the morning confusing myself further by pouring over more wallpaper sample books in a beautiful interiors boutique. I hope to give you a tour and some pictures soon. Over and over I have stared at all my choices and these are the three I truly want in my life.

Watalet by Designers Guild then Eglantine and Swallows by Sanderson. Now to narrow these three down to one.

I like the blue/gray tones better than the yellow. I think it will be easy to decorate with the gray. You have to be picky about what you pair with yellow.

The birds? I was drawn to them too, more scope for adding other colours and who wouldn't want a flock of pretty swallows to dine next to?

thanks for your comment :)

I love number 1, it is tres belle :-)

Bon week-end a toi,

Leeann

p.s I picked chocolate coloured wall paper this morning for our walk in dressing area which was an easy choice as I want it all chocolately and cosy.

I actually really like the Designers Guild options best!

Funny, because I just wrote about Sanderson on my new blog.

Would love it if anyone wants to check it out!

i think eglantine, i think like myself you like white walls and this will allow fo a whole background to be bright and fresh and just think of the accents colors such a aqua, reds green! i think you would tire of the birds yet i do llove greys!

oh i feel your pain!

i spent last month going crazy over wallpaper decisions. i actually went for 3 in the end in different rooms and i love them so much i am tempted to wallpaper every room in the house!

the swallows were on my list too. still love them. i missed eglantine though at sanderson as an option. it's gorgeous! we have sanderson cowparsely in yellow (i love yellow and it is very easy to pair with other tones...nice with grey too) and dandelion clocks in the kitchen. i also found a nice woodgrain one with pretty woodland stencils on http://www.wallpaperdirect.co.uk/products/brewers/neo/68935

good luck with your final choice-making! x

They are so beautiful Jeska, I wonder how you'll decide? Sanderson always make the most wonderful designs, don't they? Maybe you could do a collection of all 3 papers? In the book "Romantic Style" there's a bedroom wall covered in a range of wallpaper samples which looks divine!

I think more than the swallows I like the Watelet Delft or the Watelet Black & White. Those are pretty and feminine, but not too busy. But then I come from a hot climate, so that may be coloring my choices. Haha, bad pun.

I love the yellow tones! It's a bit of a cerulean green on my screen.

Oh I'm so happy to see you liked Eglantine too. I like it in the pink of course but the yellow is so uplifting too.
I can see your dilema as the designers guild one is pretty special too.
I wouldn't have thought of yellow as immediately what you would have chosen, but maybe that's why you should pick it as it's a change

Oh I love the birds, have seen that design before at the the Very Sanderson exhibition. So elegant, swooping across the wall!

Uhhmm they are all beautiful but I would say the first one in beige (or is it grey ? ) I think it offers more possibilities without being neutral.
