A decent meal

One of my favourite things about being at home so much is eating three proper meals a day. No more hastily grabbed snacks like greasy sausage rolls or cardboard tasting sandwiches that are laced with too much mayonnaise and cheap margarine. My fridge is also a happier place now that the greenery gets eaten before it wilts, and I get to see my husband for lunch too. An hour of daylight spent slowing down and spending some time eating home cooked meals at the table without our laptops is a simple luxury.

I am leaving for London now, excited to be meeting some other creative girls, we so often speak via email and twitter but rarely find the time to gather in one place, so it will be a treat to put the faces to the names I know so well.

I agree - nothing quite beats a homecooked meal! I hope you have a lovely time in London.

Oh yes! I rarely eat out because I'm so happy to be able to get home and cook there once I'm done work!

Have fun in London!

Have a great time in London!
Totally agree with you on the pleasures of having lunches at home, I love to make a pretty lunch even if Hubby is not joining me.
The new blog header looks lovely - so romantic :-)

More and more people are staying in to eat, so much healthier for us! Your meals, btw, looked really yummy.

Looks amazing! I'm very jealous! Cooking during the week is a no go for me! You can't buy time, enjoy it together xxx

You are so right! With studying fulltime I always try to have at least a few meals in my home. Your meals however are utterly inspiring! I should cook more!

I find the same - working from home means I can have decent food and don't succumb to junk.
