I wish I could crochet

My highlight on twitter this morning is finding out from Sandra Juto that it is Wristworm season. But which pair? I love them all.

All images Sandra Juto, one of my favourite bloggers. Her photography really does makes my day.

Just wanted to say crochet is very very easy. I have only just learnt and it took my about a day to get to grips with it, now I don't know why I didn't do it earlier. If you go to the 'Meet me at Mikes' blog, theres loads of links to online tutorials - I'm spreading the word!

Learn to crochet!! It's fun and once you know the basic technique you'll be off. There are so many nice wools and threads to choose from these days. I bought some amazing metalic crochet needles from a very cool independent shop on south back it's one of the little units/shops in the OXO Tower.

I must admit that crochet is one of my favorite crafting skills! It's super easy, you could learn to do it in an afternoon. Plus, these awesome mitts are really a snap to make. If you can single crochet you can make yourself a pair!

I'll teach you! I'm running a workshop a week on Saturday in our local village hall...you'd love it, a basic skill with endless possibilities of yarn, pattern, texture and project.
