Fleeting florals

Today was the ultimate dreary day, first day back at work, never-ending with customers because of the bank holiday, and to complete the miserable mood, thunderous rain clouds hanging all around the skyline.

Thought I would cheer myself up (and you if tuesday was mean to you too) with a wardrobes worth of lolita-esque fleeting florals inspired by these beautiful patchwork style wall tiles from Welbeck. I don't need wall tiles but I would definitely order a few to use a coasters for my morning cup of tea. Okay okay, enough for tea with ten friends.

All clothing images Top Shop.

Oooh - I miss Top Shop. Thanks for introducing the tiles. My favourite is the gold with floral heart. I will be ordering a few for our (distant) new bathroom.

Thanks for this post. All of the images are so bright and inspiring! I liked the tiles most and even though I don't need any now I have saved their web address just in case, for the future... On the other hand that coasters idea is brilliant.

Great tiles - feel the need to retile the bathroom. Tuesday was horrible: why do all the special people come out to play on that day?

thanks for featuring the tiles. I'd seen one or two somewhere and though them a bit twee. Now I've seen all of them I love them.

So pretty and summery. I especially like the rompers and the ruffled skirt. It's been dreary here too...yuck.

Faded florals are gorgeously girlie and I am a huge fan of this look. Tea with 10 friends, however, 't' leaves me a tad cold. An ex Londoner, living in France, and hating tea is somewhat of an oddity; plus I'd be struggling to muster 10 real friends over here sniff.Thank goodness for cheery blooms and fab blogs x
