sprinkles of rain

A slow Sunday with sprinkles of rain here and there, lots of hot tea, fresh baked cookies and the glow of evening sun to finish. In fact its been such a soul soothing day I am nearly falling asleep now.

I hope your weekend has been relaxing too.

Man those cookies look good! It's past midnight but I have an urge to get into the kitchen and start baking. Love the flowers too. And your beautiful blog!

Your weekend sounds sweet, you'll be ready to face the week now. Love the first pic on your thursday post with the little birds and garlands.

Ah, sounds good - you even make the rain sound pleasant. I spend most of Sunday in bed, having gone to a ball (!) on Saturday with my boyfriend. It was nice to get bagels in bed while avoiding the rain outside.

I love the colours in this photo essay. The spray of pink is so fresh. (And I agree with the other comments, the biscuits look yum).

Ok jes if the dream of a hotel/B&b doesn't come about then you have to open a tea shop (using vintage crockery and crochet mats) and bake biscuits like these for your customers to have with hot tea....
And that heather photo is beautiful too, kat x
