Bergamot or chocolate cherry

Like every girl worth her baked goods, I adore Laduree. They have possibly the prettiest menu ever. Of course it helps that these macarons are my favourite indulgence. With flavours like bergamot or chocolate and cherry, I think I could survive on these delicate puffs of air and nothing else. Seen at Happy Lady via Make something's twitter stream.

Ooooh... I love how pretty macarons are... Not sure I like eating them as much as I just like all the colours though! More of a cupcake girl ;)

I am drooling over those beautiful macarons! They are one of my very favourite treats :) The chocolate with passionfruit sounds particularly tempting to my tastebuds!

Oh I am so needing to try a Macaron it isn't funny! I see them everywhere and I feel so uncultured and out of the loop not knowing how they taste... :( xxx

The menu is gorgeous! I'd be happy enough to have that in my kitchen.

Ok. I seriously feel like I am the only person on the face of this earth who has never eaten a macaron. Apparently I am not. But it feels that way. I am also the only one to never have been to Paris.

They are utterly wonderful aren't they- on a higher level of treat. I just feel so happy when I eat them- perhaps Laduree put some magic dust in them? I tried the bergamot recently but haven't had chocolate cherry yet- it sounds sublime though. My favourites are the rose and the orange blossom (the softness of the OB centre never fails to delight)- closely followed by citron and salted caramel.

I don't always comment by I love your blog and it cheers me up with morning coffee every day!

I'm also one of these who's never had it! But looking at the available colours I'm feeling really jealous... That's it, my goal for next year - to visit Paris and to try all of them out. I mean it!

Oh la la! They are so pretty! We were just in Paris and stopped in to Laduree Bonaparte (upstairs in the tea room) for tea, chocolat chaud and a lovely assortment of macarons. I had caramel au beurre sale, fleur d'oranger, pistache and cassis violette (my fave). It was a divine Paris moment.

My favorite macaron flavor is always pistachio. But my favorite macaron EVER is from a small tiny cafe in Geneva, Switzerland. Its huge but amaaaazing.

By the way, I've got a Tolani scarf to give away at my blog. Come check it out :)
