stay calm

Quiet day at home. Trying to stay calm after finding out that the postal system has yet again lost one of my orders. Every time it happens I think I could just shut the shop. It is so upsetting to know that one of my hand made creations is lost or stolen somewhere.

Oh, that's terrible. A friend of mine was living in Belgium last year, and I sent her a parcel full of drawings and hand made bits and pieces. It never got to her. I was so crushed :(

i feel your pain...i have been going back and forth with the post office about one of my necklaces that was lost in march....i was so sad that it was lost, but so glad that i had bought insurance to cover it...now i'm not so sure the insurance was worth it...
hopefully yours will turn up! :)

Oh Jess, I'm sorry to hear that. But please don't even think of closing your shop. Think of all the people's lives that HAVE been brightened by your work. :)

I'm really upset and angry for you. I'm all agitated now and very cross. I have no words of wisdom just a stomp at the moment.

So sorry about that! Yes, the post is idiotic at times. I once read an article about items that went missing in the mail because of "insufficient information" to either return or send on the mail... among them was an aspiring art student's application portfolio, complete with her CV, address, and phone number... but no, there was "insufficient information" to send it back to her... Dumb, right? Hope this doesn't happen again too soon...

Greetings,

I know what you mean, it's so disheartening - one of my lanterns once took about 2 months to get to a friend in the states but for a while I thought it was lost.
I hope your order turns up, fingers crossed.

oh my goodness! I know EXACTLY how you feel! The postal system has lost my suitcase (I mailed it from switzerland to avoid going through the airport alone with 3 suitcases) and I am making myself ill, thinking about strangers wearing my favorite skirts, curling up with my books, and reading the letters my grandmother has sent me :(
