As the leaves turn

As the leaves turn golden outside my window I am still pondering the whole red hair thing. Wandering from room to room, going about my morning routine. I guess if I really don't like it I can put dark over the top again.

My hair is almost black and I've never dyed it, but I've always been envious of redheads.

I like to go dark and conker-like in the hair department at this time of year. I love the autumn, the light, the air and even the shorter days. Roll on boots and blanket coats.

Go for it! You look ace among those leaves with a dark green woolen cap! xxx

Try henna if you haven't already. It will wash out and you'll get an idea of how you look with it. I've been pondering that for a while, maybe I'll do it next summer.

Beautiful. I have always wanted red hair, I've flirted with red dye, but never gone proper pre-raphelite red. Have you been watching Desparate Rpmantics? Lizzie's hair is to die for... pic here.

What is it about autumn and wanting to turn into a redhead, I'm going through the throws of exactly the same musings. And yes, it can always be changed back if it doesn't feel right, so go for it!

i have been wanting to go red for months! but every time i go to the salon i chicken out and just end up with my usual brown and a hint of red.

you should do it! i'm sure you would look great! and maybe it will motivate me to finally take the plunge into red as well.

i've got dark hair, too, but i've done a rinse to add a little auburn/red to it. not too bright. always happy when i do. go for it! you can always re-dye and if it's a wash, it'll fade after time. fall's a great time to experiment!

I think that is a question we all ponder: to go red or not. I've never done a thing to my hair but if I were to it would certainly be red.

Well...as a tried and true carrot top (see your second from the bottom set) I highly recommend it! LOL But, be ready for the nicknames - there are many!!!
