Summer fete

My stitching room looks like a summer fete. All around it hang the new garlands for my shop. Finally finished and ready to find new homes.

I really feel I have got so much done today. I hope everyone else has had a fulfilling weekend. Has anyone else been making anything?

Have a happy Sunday evening.

Just before I go, there seem to be a lot of f's in this post, no?

Believe it or not, the word verification is: FORANE!

Love them, especially the blue check ones.

They are beautiful, I especially love the little bird garland although less summer fete than the rest.
I've had one of those weekends that feel really unproductive. Despite having got little bits and pieces done I don't feel i've achieved a great deal.
One thing I did finally manage to do is list this card in my shop.

I've been meaning to do it for a few weeks and just haven't got round to it.
Have a good week :)

Wonderful garlands! I love these photos. Most of my creative energy this month has been going into picking berries and baking pastries with berries in them--edible art! xo

Morning! I love the bunting-esque look about the place. We're in the midst of village fete season over here in Wiltshire and I'm a big fan. The bunting, the cake, the warm wine - what's not to like. I've started a zingy anti-rain-shower crochet blanket over the weekend. It's over at projectforty.blogspot.com if you fancy taking a look.

I love what some gorgeous bunting like your creation does to a room - instantly makes it look as though a celebration is on the way. I had a hugely busy weekend but made a lot less than I planned. I need to put in a few late night I think!

you have been very busy indeed, and all so beautiful!

i'm still crawling around the kitchen floor with paint brush in hand! but the last coat can go on tomorrow and then it needs five days to set properly!

then i can get back to stitching again... :)

I keep saying to myself that I will make a couple buntings to put around my house, but I still haven't yet! I feel like it's been forever since I stopped in for a visit, and I'm glad I did today. Sounds like you have quite a wonderful weekend! I wasn't productive, but I had a lot of fun.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods :)

Oh this is just divine. I LOVE garlands and they look so great with all the frames.

I've been knitting because it's winter and I love to cover myself in cashmere and wool during winter.

Here is my latest creation and now I'm knitting a hoodie for my son...
