There is a man that stands in our town centre on Saturdays making bubbles. He is like a modern day pied piper. Little children convince their parents that they must have bubbles for always at home.
Its nice to walk home through a flurry of bubbles.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

How precious,
Once upon a time my apartment building was near a shop which sold various curiosities. For a while that shop had a mechanical bubble-blowing bear near the door.
It always made me smile to walk home through the bubbles.........
That sounds so great, equally lovely for adults as it is for children!
when you look at a bubble it has a tiny window of rainbow colours :) the child in all of still looks through that window to catch a glimpse of sunny childhood days ;) greets from Ireland ...Karen

Reminds me of the lady who used to feed the pidgeons on Mary Poppins.
This too happens in my town, just opposite costa coffee. it is lovely when music is playing throughout the centre too.
Lovely. I love these sorts of characters. Bubbles too. Last weekend, a flurry of bubbles came from out of nowhere. I never found the source. I hope the rest of your weekend was as lovely.
sammy, your town could almost be my town. just opposite costa with music playing!
You gotta love a guy like that. Kinda like the lucky man who gets to walk around all day selling balloons and making people happy. Today I read about a man in Mexico City who plays a leaf with all the precision and beauty of a more typical instrument. How lovely.
up north where my family vacations for memorial weekend, there's a cute popcorn shop that makes about ten different kinds of popcorn (chocolate, caramel, jalpeno, nacho cheese) and outside they always have a bubble machine. it's always one of my favorite spots up there.
:0) Your post was like a sigh of relief. So nice to hear about people making others happy for the sake of making them happy.
Children are so clever...of course we need bubbles in our life- always!
That is sweet. I like your photograph, it's evocative and silent at once.
Isn't that so beautiful!
I love this blog! Sweety, different, funny, made by a creative girl and a good cook with delicious looking food! Thank you Lobster and Swan

What a lovely description! I'm tempted to buy a bubble machine and to always leave it on in my room! Or maybe to follow me wherever I go.
By the way, I've got a pair of beautiful pearl earrings to give away over at my blog. Come check them out :)
