jogging fever

Saturday musts. Little blue house. Fishing boats. Crayfish tails and lemon juice. West hill walk. Peeling paint. Pretty graffiti.

I am super happy to have the ability to enjoy my town as a tourist would. A teeny vacation. Saturdays are different to Sundays, so who knows what today will bring. The sun is holding out again, no painting will get done. We will save it for a week night.

PS. Is it wrong for me to eat a doughnut for breakfast whilst my husband and sister are out running? I just can't get the jogging fever. Baked goods on the other hand never fail to raise my interests.

I say bring on the baked goods!! A girl after my own heart indeed. Can I just say I found you blog on the 'Blogs of Note' at Blogger and I've been hooked ever since. I really enjoy your lovely pictures and your writing. Keep up the good work. x

I love the peeling paint and the 'noel' graffiti is so gorgeous....I've dragged it off your blog and it's now my desktop background....is that ok?
It looks fab!

I just returned home from the seaside, wish I was still there.
It's never wrong, doughnut vs running is really no competition.

If I lived where you do, I would be out there enjoying the idyllic environment. I wouldn't go jogging though. I really love visiting your site.

Hmm, I'm not sure a doughnut is ever a healthy choice for breakfast, young lady! (Although as my American in-laws pointed out, this is a very British view - doughnuts and coffee being a standard breakfast in the US.) I'd love to spend a bit of time wandering around Hastings on a Sunday... someday soon I will get my life back and then maybe.

I used to jog - I haven't done it for six weeks because I've had so much work to do and I don't miss it at all...!

If I lived in London I would happily join you for a doughnut so that you weren't so alone in your endeavor...

I have a rule that on weekends anything goes for breakfast. I had cake!

If I could have eaten a doughnut, that is totally my preference over running my shins into the ground........it was a good run though!

what camera do you have? it captures colors SO well.
Totally with you on the baked goods ... tho sometimes I feel like I just HAVE to jog, but then totally negate it afterward by eating something high-carb. Yeah, love it.

I love to run...but the donut sounds better. If I eat the donut then I HAVE to run:-)

Maybe donuts AND running is the best combo! Your photos are wonderful and your morning looks the same :) I, too, have kidnapped your noel photo for desktop use, as it is my middle name :)

I'm definitely with you on the doughnut over jogging, I don't mind the odd walk, but jogging's always been a no no.
Sometimes you just need to be a tourist to rediscover your own area..we take so much for granted when it's there all the time, and you have such pretty towns around. It's a favourite area...thank you for the reminders...

Absolutely not. I'd save it until they got back and eat it in front of them, hee hee ;)

Where is it that you live? I visited my in-laws and walked along the shoreline at Kingsdown and Deal. I swear I saw these boats and this former fisherman's house while I was there!

Looks like you had a blissful weekend! These pics would make lovely postcards. I love that door, and I am ALL ABOUT the craw/crayfish! Yummo!

And I don't think it's wrong that you had that donut. I think it's wrong that you had just one, hehehehe.
