A little late but Sunday was just grand and what better way to celebrate midweek than with sweet memories?
My husband and sister ran nine miles.
I baked chocolate freckles.
With such an early start we were able to make it over to the De la warr pavilion and get a balcony table and a seaside breakfast. Salty breeze, coffee and a spiced spanish biscuit.
Home for lunch. Bread, cheese and glasses of iced lemon and ginger cooler. Recipe to follow later.
An attempt to tidy the disaster that is my workroom while beautiful sea bass and courgette ribbon (get him!) salad was cooked for me by my husband.
