babies bonnet

Tiny velvet forget me knots. Faded leaves and soft pink roses. I was given this delicate antique babies bonnet with a view to turning it into something else. But it is so beautiful it would break my heart to cut it up. Being one of three sisters surely there will be a baby girl worthy of wearing it one day?

So sweet...I am pregnant for the first time (not sure yet if it's a boy or a girl) but what an adorable heirloom to be able to pass on! I'm with you...too precious to change.

I'm an artist that uses old things all the time and I couldn't touch that bonnet either! How beautiful!
