Cerise, turquoise, gold, giveaway

I have this set of six handmade invitations. Made them a while ago from hand dyed lace embellished with beads and sequins. They have been hiding in a drawer. They need to fulfill their destiny, that's where you come in. Leave a comment about your favorite theme for a party, and they could be there in time for your next celebration.

I will close the giveaway this friday 17th of April at 8 pm UK time.

They would be perfect for a girls-only party that I am dying to throw! Being surrounded by four boys and a husband, I am in desperate need to drink pink drinks, wear party hats filled with glitter, and wear crazy party dresses!

These are soo pretty and unique! I'm thinking about a fiesta/picnic at the beach. I love bright colors! Salsa, mango, guacamole, those bright Mexican crepe paper flowers.

These invites would certainly set the mood. They could be bits and pieces from a vintage Mexican dress.

Love your work.

I like the idea of a talent party...where everyone is invited to read/perform/sing/do something to entertain the other guests. I suppose I like the idea of everyone singing for their supper! Love the cards...ever hopeful.

My friend Lillie is getting married. She is into very intimate and personal gatherings, and this would be great for a small shower. I am thinking of the theme Lillies and Lace, since I get a very whimsical and lacy feel from the invites. They are adorable!

I'm having a city mouse, country mouse party. I just moved out to the boonies, and I'm having my girls friends from college in D.C. They're all bringing fresh cut flowers from back in VA to decorate. Your invites are great! Beautiful homemade charm.

Love your blog!

Hmm. My favorite theme... I'd have to say a prairie/country theme with square dancing, ruffly dresses, homemade pies, straw hats, that sort of thing. :)

Every year, my friends and I throw at least 2 themed parties. Last year, it was Miami Vicecapades and Christmas in the Carribean. All parties include themed drinks, a photo wall, attire requirements and food to match. These little invitations are making me think of Spain for some reason. I am seeing a party with lots of candles, Tango music, wine, tapanades and dresses with full skirts in ricj colors to match the invites.

Lately I've been wanting to have a little kid-themed party, with yummy macaroni and cheese and finger sandwiches.

Or a potluck taco party with mariachi music playing in the background.

Or... any party, really.

Such pretty invitations. It's worth having a party just so those invitations could be sent!

My favorite theme? I suppose it would be a Garden Party, with Mother Nature as the guest of honor...

What fun goodies! My favorite party idea is a polka dot Alice in Wonderland tea party. Fun!!! Chloe's birthday is tomorrow and I'm working on party ideas for this upcoming weekend. So fun to see what everyone has contributed here. Please put my name in the hat!

Picking my favorite theme is hard! :D I have always wanted to do a Beatrix Potter party for my birthday! I love her along with Tasha Tudor. Oh and a Victorian African Safari would be fun too!!

I like the idea of a garden party now that the weather is getting nice. Also, what about a Mom's day off party and the Dad's can babysit while the Mom's just get a chance to actually eat a meal and talk.

How about a joint birthday party? I turn 30 this year and my partner turns 40! I'm in Istanbul studying abroad right now, but I'll be back home in time for my own birthday (since I will miss his :( !!), and then we're going to throw a combination party for our big milestone birthdays. :)

Backyard barbecue. I really am in need of some warmth. It's still cold here in MN. (I have a giveaway on my blog, too. I just found yours - both of them - really great)

I really want to throw a "goodbye/see you next semester" party for me and my closest friends. We love this very nice Mexican restaurant called Papa Gallos outside of Syracuse. These invitations would be perfect for this intimate but fun going-away dinner party.
Some margaritas would make this night perfect!
Thanks! Syd

My favorite type of party to throw is an old fashioned southern bbq. In the summer we invite friends over for a pig pickin'- we provide the pig and they bring side dishes.

I would plan an evening of whimsy and nostalgia for my sisters and best friends. I would make sweet potato fries and chicken fingers to have with pesto mayonnaise, violet cupcakes for dessert, and cream soda.

We would watch An Affair to Remember with Carey Grant and Deborah Kerr and make popcorn at midnight.

We would also sew little flower fabric bags with our names on them (as we have gotten in the habit of being crafty together:P).

I would use your adorable invitations to herald this "Who Says We're Too Old For a Sleep-Over" Party---I really really hope to win. I know everyone would appreciate such lovely handmade notes!

For my 40th birthday party I'd love to recreate a wedding reception afters so that I can have the opportunity to wear my wedding dress once more. Your beautiful invitations would be perfect. Naturally I'd have to make a few more too. It's not for another two years so I think I'd have time. :)

I think my favorite theme for a party circles around color! A color scheme that contains anything in that color! Oh La La!

If anything is possible...a Parisian high society party for my sister's 23rd, as I couldn't see her on the day. French fancies and champagne, old lace and flowers in crystal on every surface, free Chanel and YSL for everyone and a New Orleans jazz band to give it a bit of an edge.

I have a giveaway posted as well on my page... any ideas on how to get it noticed!?

I have 3 small children so themes seem to revolve around them. Princesses, butterflies, cupcakes not all at the same time but always with pink.
