Mondays dilemma

Hello there. I made it! Actually fifty eight hours without any internet access. Was tough at times. I never realised how much I rely on google to answer my queries. What time things are on, where they originated, prices, the list is endless. But here we are it's Monday and I have a question for you about the belts above. I bought both as I could not decide which went best with the floral dress. Only one can stay, which do you prefer?

As you can see as I child I had no problem deciding on accessories all by myself, take the hobby horse every time.

I love the double buckled belt. It's gorgeous.

i agree, love the double buckle at the top. such a lovely contrast of ruggedness & femininity.

seems Dean (the husband) is getting out voted. I liked the bottom one too : )

For that particular dress, I'd go with the second one (with only one buckle) it makes your waist look nice and neat!

I like the bottom one. I think its neater with the dress, gorgeous by the way ;0

The bottom one. The first one is pretty, but the dress is too delicate for it. ;)

I like the bottom one with the dress best (I think the double buckle is gorgeous though!)

The bottom one with this dress, but I LOVE the top one, just with something else.

The bottom one!

i'd choose the bottom one!

I like the top one the best. The dress is so pretty!

I like the one buckled belt as well with the dress. Two buckles is fun but maybe too much of a contrast with the pretty dress.... where's the dress from?

I'm with husband Dean: The bottom one is a winner (the top one is lovely, but too buckle-y maybe). Such a pretty dress!

The top one, for sure :)

That's a hard one because I actually like the top belt slightly better, but I think the bottom belt looks best with the dress. It has just the right amount of clunkiness to offset the sweet floral and still give you a nice curve. I know, I'm never any help with these sort of things.

that is a tough one! i really like them both. but i think the bottom one looks best with that dress. do you really have to return one?
:)

I like the bottom belt. It creates a softly sweet and sophisticated look when paired with this dress.

the double buckle is cute in a weight lifting/utility belt sort of way, but the single buckle makes a cleaner and prettier line at your waist (especially with that dress).

Both belts are attractive. However, I think the one in the second photo goes better with it. Nice dress too. Work it.

Congrats on not turning on your computer! I try to go without it every weekend, and I don't miss it when I do!

Definitely the top one (with the two metal loops)--looks great!

gorgeous dress! and I think you should choose the belt in the middle. I love the lighter color- I think it compliments the dress perfectly!

I love the top one. The bottom one seems too bland!

So gorgeous!! First one, definitely.

I think the bottom one goes better with the dress as well

the double buckle all the way!

but where-oh-where did you get that beautiful dress?

The double buckle belt is fun, but with this dress it screams "I'm wearing a belt!!!!!". You don't want the belt to be the 'hero' of the outfit (I think)!

I'd have to say the top one, with the double buckle. It looks fun and a little strange, gives more character to an already very quaint dress.

Both are great, but the top one lends a more interesting sense of contrast (I'm thinking 'Mad Men' - 50s floral housedress mixed with more rugged, equestrian-like belt = yes!)

The bottom one (one buckle). It keeps the waist in proportion. The other is a little bulky.

I vote for belt # 1. (w/out the doulbe buckle)
So lovely!

I love the double-buckle belt with the dress...the color makes everything look richer!

I say the bottom one too. The double-buckle one may be too busy for that particular dress, although it is a great belt. Beautiful dress!

WOW aren't you talented! I love belt no. 1 with the heart - fab

Brittany Noel said...

Definitely the second one. The first one is too commanding. I love the second one! Especially with that dress :)

Katy said...

The second one. The double-buckle is way too overpowering on that print. Too much hardware!

pigeon.toed said...

i would say the second one. the lighter color complements the dress better :)

Bottom one with one buckle no contest. Mr husband Dean does know his fashion! Impressive.

Heya, I'm really sorry if you got that message like half a dozen times. My internet connection is on the blink today :(

The first one is lovely and unique...please pick that one.

i like the first one because it's different but i think the second one is best with this dress.

I like the bottom one best with the dress, the dress is lovely!

Both are beautiful belts, but the bottom one is best with that adorable dress!!

Bottom one!

I love the bottom one. The color is complimenting and brings out the lighter flowers in the dress!

Chiming in late, but I hope you kept the top one. It's beautiful. The richness of the leather and details make it, to my eye. It reminds me of Hermés saddlery. Pure class.

I love that dress!!! The bottom belt is my fave!

The second one, hands down :)

the bottom one(I know I'm late...)
It really flatters your figure.
By the way, your blog is lovely!!!

I like both, but the bottom one makes your waist look teeny tiny!

The bottom one adds to the dress, the top one takes attention away from the dress and on to the belt, itself....

Oh, I love the bottom belt, where did you get it?
