I love pancake day!

Tonight we are comfortably full from eating too many pancakes. We had rocket and feta pancakes with a home made walnut and rocket pesto. Then blueberry pancakes with sweet vanilla creme fraiche. There was so batter much left over I guess we may be having them for breakfast too!

How do you eat yours?

simple butter with maple syrup and always a savory of sausage to offset the sweet. strawberries are nice, too. i really want some of your blueberry version right now - yum.

what is rocket? i might like that, too?

sound delicious, rocket is a peppery salad leaf : )

Yours sound great, what great flavors!
I love lemon or lime and honey! But being Canadian, I should add maple syrup too with a bit of butter.

OOOh, share recipes. I have an explosion of rocket in my garden. Would love to try those pancakes.

Mmmmmmm.....what a wild and savory combination! Who woulda thought?!?! I'm dreaming of this duo jazzed up with a dollop of sun-dried tomatoes and/or sizzle fried mushrooms.

For the pesto, do you just substitute the rocket for basil?

Yum!!! I want to have a pancake night. I can't make them, though. They never turn out right. I think I have trouble with the right heat or something... Yours sound so delicious, and I love those glass bottles all in a neat row :)

We had them with sugar and lemonjuice. We only ate sweet pancakes since my darling likes them that way =)

We had mushroom, onion, and garlic pancakes for the 'main course' and then lemon and sugar pancakes after :) sooo good!

I love your combination of rocket and feta. I have it sometimes for a quick lunch, with whatever comes to hand drizzled over it.

Pancakes...here it has to be lemon and sugar or honey, but I do love crepes rolled up with their savoury filling oozing out up and over the little grease proof wrap they give you...

I prefer mine quite simply with blueberries or blueberry jam. :)

Gorgeous images, again!

We went for a savoury combo of bacon, mushrooms, garlic and gruyere, oh and for pud - a dollop of caramel ice cream! Scrumptious.

Yumm, your pancakes sound delicious. The other day I tried substituting milk for beer in my pancakes and then drizzling with honey, walnuts and bananas.. crazy taste sensation.. mmmmmm

i am simple and i like mine with lemon curd inside. i am in such a lemon curd kick lately. i separate the yolks and whites so i can make a meringue and add it to the base for a fluffier pancake. lemon souffle pancakes i call them.

MMMMM! Those sound delicious.
My mother made wonderful buckwheat pancakes with homemade Vermont maple syrup. Classic and hearty.
But after our trip to San Francisco and the taiyaki we had there, that's what I want to make next - like a moulded pancake in the shape of a fish, stuffed with bananas and chocolate.

good morning,
I-hop, in U.S. stands for international house of pancakes! Lots of choices, but the bright lights, decor are a turn off. Have you seen the copy of the Russh magazine from Austrailia.... last month's issue with kate moss on the cover? I think you would love the magazine and the whole vibe. I do!! Sorry, if you have already written about it.

although I am not a pancake person I would definitely make an exception for anything that had feta cheese on it.

Mmmmm....I heart pancakes. Lemon ricotta are a new obsession, and blueberry are my old stand-by. :-)
