spending the day at home

I always find a deeper appreciation of fairy lights after the festive season. I come in and switch them on before any other lights and some how can't let them go, so now mingled in with one of my paper garlands they form a swag above our bed.

I have some across the mantle on my fireplace that I don't want to take down either. They're just so delightful.

I love fairy lights year round, too. I have to stop myself from putting them in every room(!)

I think you should put some fairy lights in my apartment this weekend. You know, no big. Just fly over and do your magic here and then maybe I'll let you go home! Your bed looks so dream-inspiring.

those are the garlands from your once wed table right? so so gorgeous. you said on once wed that they were made from preserving paper and ribbon. I'm not sure I know what preserving paper is...maybe an american/uk difference there?
