This afternoon whilst tidying I dug out my favorite vintage dresses from the back of a cupboard. I spent some time messing about and dressing up. My husband probably won't think this is the best way to spend an afternoon (especially as I forgot all about dinner. It's still frozen, oops!) Sometimes I don't know how he puts up with me. My head is half in today half in a thousand old Hollywood musicals. But I promised to show some of my dresses to Sofia so here they are. I'm thinking they would look nice paired with some of her wonderful necklaces?

What gorgeous dresses! and lovely photos of them too :) The peach one is my favorite. You should try to wear that at least once ever two weeks. I think I would...
These dresses are amazing! And you look so darn cute. Stop hiding your face!
These photos are wonderful. I love your blog! It's become one of my favorites. In fact, I wrote about it on my blog today. I look forward to future entries!
oh, you look just so lovely. I think the peach skirt is beautiful, what a lovely outfit to dream in.
Look how lovely!! what a wonderful wardrobe of beautiful dresses!!! and shoes!
oh the peach and blue dresses are just a dream!!!! i'm in need of a dress up play session as well!
They are all so pretty- but oooh the peachy one! It reminds me of a cloud of meringue!
Thank you for your comments.
I haven't worn them for years, I would like to take some evening photos so the sequins sparkle in the moon light, but it is just to darn cold for messing about outside!
Ah such wonderful dresses! Especially I like the twinkly bits on the peachy one- fairytale indeed. And all your beautiful shoes. I have a great yearning for more dresses in my life, probably because I spend most of my time wearing comfort clothes sitting at a sewing machine. But I have promised myself to make more feminine dresses - just for me! I love your blog, found it recently and it's gone to the top of my list. (And Record the Day) Happy days to you. D
WOW oh my these is what I call Beautiful dresses, I have a thing for the pink one, it is amazingly beautiful. You are a lucky girl did you knew that :)
Your peachy-pink dress is just beautiful. It looks like a peony.

The peach chiffon is the one for me...a dress out of a dream.
what fun! and so petty too.
something about a dress that you can twirl in makes a girl want to dance and sing.
i love all the high heel dainty, strappy shoes.
Gosh I love these dresses!! All of them! So hard to find vintage shops in Japan, I've always thought we Japanese are too obsessed with keeping everything brand new and cutting edge....
Wow! I love these, they're gorgeous. Especially the one with the green ruffle deatil at the back. Fab!
