Wonderful posts again, I want to eat it all up :) I love the London pictures below, so elegant and beautiful! And yes, Carrie Bradshaw would be the perfect fairy on a cake (or Christmas tree).
I adore the Ladurè box also!!!
Gorgeous pastel prettiness!
These look so lovely and the packaging is beautiful.
Oh, I am in love with anything from Laduree! Have you had their chocolat chaud? DIVINE! If you haven't, there's a copycat recipe that I tried recently that is AMAZING! (http://lafujimama.blogspot.com/2008/11/chocolat-chaud-hot-chocolate-french-way.html)
Heaven. It's just such a shame they are only one bite each!
And what lovely pics they are...
Mmmm - beautiful photos, especially since I know how delicious they are! One year for my birthday, my best friend express mailed me a box of these, and I dream about them ever since!
when i was in london last october i picked up a box, ohhh my god SO GOOD. im going back on the 11th for a month, i see many boxes in my immediate future :] "lobster and swan" author (i dont know your name, sorry!) i know they sell macarons at that bakery called paul, have you heard of that or tried them? they looked nice but i have yet to sample :]
Thank you for the recipe! My name is Jeska for those who don't know. : )I have never eaten a real macaroon until this day! I was too scared to go into Laduree in Paris as it was crazy hectic! But the store is so so beautiful. Magical.I always love a pain au chocolat from Paul bakery, they make the best!
Oh these are my paradise food. It is just the most beautiful shop. Every Christmas I treat myself to a small box of the rose petal ones. Last year they didn't make it home... I ate them all on the train home on Christmas eve! oops
In NYC we don't have Laudree, but we DO have Payard, and Masion de Chocolat, and their macaroons are quite delicious! Beautiful photos, Jeska, and a wonderful blog!
I remember going there with my grandfather when I was little. His love for macarons is still kicking at 98 years old!!
Lucky gal! Those are as close to perfection as possible.
I like these colorful sweet almond clouds.
