Falling leaves and winter berries

Sunday. A morning in the woods. And an afternoon around my neighborhood.

I love the berries! The stark roundness of them against the lacy branches. Sigh...

Mmm, I can feel the spicy taste of the sea buckthorns. When I was little and I was visiting my grandparents, the woodman used to bring carts full of sea buckthorns and we were working all together to pick the little orange berries. We, the girls, used to pick them with nail scissors because of the thorns:)) It must have been a wonderful Sunday morning for you! Thanks!
